Countries Exempted from Visas

COUNTRIES EXEMPTED OR COVERED BY THE PROCEDURES FOR SIMPLIFYING ADMINISTRATIVE ACTS FOR THE GRANTING OF TOURIST VISAS

According to Presidential Decree No. 56/18 of 20 February and Presidential Decree No. 150/18 of 19 June, the exemption of tourist visas for stays of up to 30 days per entry and 90 days per year for nationals of the countries below shall be established in accordance with reciprocity. However, the aforementioned exemption does not exempt compliance with the formalities applicable at border posts, in accordance with Law No. 13/19 of 23 May on the legal regime of foreigners.

The procedures for simplifying administrative acts for granting a tourist visa to nationals of the countries listed in the table below are also laid down. To assist the citizens of these countries, the diplomatic mission and consular sector of the Republic of Angola in the United Republic of Tanzania adopted a simplified and unbureaucratic assistance to ensure the granting of a tourist visa in a period of not more than 3 working days.

For the purpose of granting a tourist visa pursuant to this Article, nationals of the countries listed below shall comply cumulatively with the following requirements:

a) Proof of hotel reservation or proof of reception by citizen residing in Angola;
b) Passport valid for more than 6 months;
c) Round-trip ticket;
d) International vaccination card;
e) Proof of means of subsistence
