Embassy of the Republic of Angola in the United Republic of Tanzania

INFORMATION NOTE

At present, the Consular Sector of the Embassy of Angola in the United Republic of Tanzania communicates to other stakeholders that in compliance with Law No. 13/19 of 23 May on the legal regime of foreign citizens in the Republic of Angola, the Migration and Foreigners Service, deleted the ordinary visa enshrined in that Law.
In the meantime, the pleas, inherent in ordinary concession, were absorbed by the tourism visa, as can be apparent from the text of Article 51 of Law No 13/19 of 23 May, in order to allow foreign citizens to enter the national territory, whose purpose of travel would entail the granting of the then ordinary visa.
Therefore, for the granting of the tourism visa, in addition to the general requirements inherent in the granting of entry visas, provided for in Article 61 of the Law in reference, the following documents should be required to submit:

  • Duly completed form;
  • Passport recognized in the Republic of Angola, valid for more than six months;
  • International Certificate of Vaccines;
  • Photocopy of the round-trip ticket;
  • proof of the existence of means of subsistence.

As regards the Simplification of Tourism Visas, provided for in Presidential Decree No. 56/18 of 20 February, it recalls that paragraph 3 of this diploma establishes, for the granting of the visa, the following requirements:

  • Proof of hotel reservation or proof of reception by citizen resident in Angola;
  • Passport valid for more than six months;
  • Round-trip ticket;
  • International Vaccination Card;
  • Proof of means of subsistence.

Moreover, the Investor Visa , (formerly called privileged visa), although inadvertently contained, in article 49(1)(f) of Law No 13/19, on 23 May on consular visas, it is indeed a territorial visa, in accordance with Article 58(b) and Article 59 of that diploma, so it is no longer granted by Angolan diplomatic and consular missions, since, in the event of the proposed amendment of the current law, these and other incongruities can be deformed, such as as is the case with inclusion in Article 79 which deals with the forms of granting the entry visa, the ordinary visa, which is already extinguished.
